Turn your ideas into a podcast

Since you have stumbled upon this article, you must be curious about starting your own podcast. Whether you already have a running podcast or thinking of starting one, here are some things to consider:

What do I want to share through my podcast?

Why do you wish to start a podcast? What thoughts do you have that others can be more aware of? Let these questions be the guiding skeleton for your planning phase.

For example, if your main goal is to let others become more aware of the underrated and hidden food places, perhaps "Talking about food" will serve as your show's core concept.

Once you've established your podcast's general direction, you have to consider your show's structure. You may consider looking up similar-themed podcasts on Spotify or Apple Podcasts to get an idea of how others structure their show. You might find that a monologue, an interview, or a food sound-drama suits your style best!

I already have a general direction and idea... now what?

You can now experiment with your ideas! You can come up with content for your first 3 episodes as a way to familiarize yourself with the entire process before publishing them.

Try out different styles to keep your podcast interesting!

For example: If you wish to talk about "The cheapest street food," make sure to do your research first! You may even invite that foodie friend of yours who loves to post food pictures on Instagram to be a guest on your show!

Now, we can start recording!
