Podcast : Utilizes RSS technology to distribute and release audio and texts through podcast hosting services. Listeners are then able to listen on demand through their preferred streaming platforms such as Spotify.

RSS Feed : Every podcast comes with a unique RSS feed that houses all of your podcast's data. It allows podcast-streaming platforms to automatically update and display new content.

Hosting : Also known as "Podcast Hosting Services." Creators utilize hosting services in order to distribute and publish their podcasts on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, among others.

Additionally, other aggregator platforms may also actively scan for existing podcasts from other platforms.
